A82 Crianlarich – Tarbet – Closure

Carriageway Resurfacing Works. Full Road Closure with Diversion via the A83, A819 and A85 in operation overnight between 10pm and 6am.

Queuing traffic will be escorted safely through the works every two hours at midnight, 2am and 4am during a 15-minute window. There will be no restrictions to emergency services and they will be allowed to pass through the works at all times.

Alternatively there is a standard diversion route via the A83, A819 and A85 as follows;

Northbound:

For traffic travelling westbound on the A85, traffic should turn left at the junction of A85 and A82 at Crianlarich signposted “Glasgow”. Continue on the A82 to Tarbet – At the junction of the A82 and A83 traffic should turn right onto the A83 signposted “Inveraray”. Continue on the A83 to Inveraray – At the junction of the A83 and A819 turn right onto the A819 signposted “Oban and Dalmally”. Continue on the A819 to the junction of the A819 and A85. Traffic should then rejoin A85 and therefore follow permanent signing.

Distance: 50 miles.

Southbound

Traffic must turn right onto the A85 at the A82/A85 Junction at Tyndrum -Turn left onto A819 signposted “Inveraray”. Continue onto A819 to Inveraray – At the junction of the A819 and A83 turn left onto A83 signposted “Glasgow” – At the junction of A83 and A82 Glasgow bound traffic should continue onto A82. All other diverted traffic should turn left onto the A82 signposted “Crianlarich”. Continue on the A82 to Crianlarich – At the junction of the A82 and A85 traffic should turn right onto the A85 and therefore follow permanent signing.

Please note there are Height Restrictions at Crianlarich (4.4m and 13″9″)
